bpte Ltd has been established since 1988 and currently has approximately 100 employees.

We are based in the heart of the UK at Ilkeston, Derbyshire, which is conveniently located approx. 3 miles from junction 26 of the M1 motorway (view map).

Mark Footman - Managing Director - Mark has a successful career in Senior Management roles covering 26 years. He was at MG-ROVER/LAND ROVER Group for 23 years. His final position at LAND ROVER was Manufacturing Manager of Range Rover & Freelander. In 2003 Mark joined SIGMA Q.C as European Operations Manager, managing a number of high profile business turnaround projects with major 1st tier suppliers in the Automotive, Rail & Aerospace industries. Mark joins bpte during a period of growth & has the responsibility to deliver the growth plans & develop the business further adding to current customer base & markets.

Kent Peters - Manufacturing Manager - Kent joins us from Swiss UK where he was the Plant Operations Manager. He has broad manufacturing experience in mould and press shops utilising Extrusion and Injection moulding techniques. Kent also managed the planning and logistics departments and has recently completed a lean manufacturing training course. He has all the essential experience and training to lead the bpte Operations team to the next level.

Jez Tanner - Sales Engineer - Jez is a Senior member of the bpte team. He has extensive knowledge of the bpte business and its customer base from his 18 years service. This intimate knowledge will be key in supporting him in his new role as Sales Engineer. With the introduction of the Project & Technical Engineer, Jez will have the support to assist him in developing and growing the bpte business within our current customer base and new markets.

Pushpasiri Bandara - Project/Technical Engineer - In 2002, Pushpasiri graduated with first class honours degree from the University of Moratuwa, Colombo, Sri Lanka in Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Engineering with mechanical bias. He is a member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining, United Kingdom, and awarded with “The Manamperi Award for seven best undergraduate projects in Sri Lanka for the year 2002.

During his career he has experience in designing and manufacturing of injection moulding tools utilizing CAD/CAM & 3D modeling techniques and CNC programming. He has a broad range of skills & experience in Manufacturing & Supplying components for a wide range of markets including Automotive.

Pushpasiri joins bpte as a Project & Technical Engineer, supporting Sales. With his design capabilities, he brings a new dimension to the services we can offer to our customers and his focus will be supporting the customer interface on existing and in developing new business.
